The permanent magnet stepper motor uses the physical principle of electromagnetism to generate torque by changing the direction of the current in the stator coil to produce a changing magnetic field that acts with the permanent magnet rotor (using radial multi-pole magnetization) to make the motor rotate.

Permanent magnet stepper motors are used in many industries (printers, financial equipment, stage lighting, optical instruments, etc.), with better control accuracy (no step angle accumulation error), compared to hybrid stepper motors, permanent magnet type can achieve higher speed, higher power density, such as in the space is small and requires a large torque (gear reduction), please consider this type of motor.

1. Motor Frame Size.


2. Motor Type Code: “PM” indicates permanent magnet stepper motor.


3. Motor Body Length Code.


4. Motor Parameter:indicates different resistance, inductance and torque data.


5. Projecting Shaft Code:indicates the projecting shaft length (i.e.: 14 means 14mm long).


6. Gear Code: D indicates motor pressed gear.


7. Lead Wire Length.
